Coach of the Nigeria under-23 team Samson Siasia has omitted Sampdoria of Italy target Stanley Amuzie from his list of players called up for camping ahead of a crucial Olympic qualifier game against the winner between and Congo.
Siasia called up 30 players but the left full back name was conspicuously missing from the list of players expected to report to the team camp on the 1st of June for the July showpiece that will have an impact on Nigeria participation at the next Olympic games in Rio.
Amuzie is reportedly in Italy with Sampdoria with initial reports suggesting he has already agreed a move to the Serie A side which will be announced when the transfer window opens in June.
