THIAGO IIORI WANTS LIVERPOOL STAY DESPITE WATFORD INTEREST

Anglo Nigeria defender Thiago Ilori who since joining Liverpool has had to endure loan spells away from Anfield has reportedly turned down a move to Watford as he is keen on winning a spot in Liverpool's first team.

Ilori made 12 appearances on loan at Bordeaux  in France Ligue 1 and two seasons ago upon joining Liverpool he was loaned out to Granada in the Spanish La-Liga where he made 9 appearances.

The 22 year old still eligible for Nigeria and England at senior level is a Portuguese Under-21 international who fancy he can make an impression for the Brendan Rodgers lead team if called upon.

He is presently the club fifth choice central defender behind Martin Skrtel,Dejan Lovren,Mamodou Sakho and Kolo Toure with teenager Joe Gomez who is the team regular left full back this season also an option in central defence.
