A three way battle for Nigeria striker Imoh Ezekiel has taken off with Locomotive Moscow,FC Porto and Anderlecht all hoping to take the forward away from Al-Arabi.
Even his last season loan side Standard Liege are hoping of having him on a season long loan as well but latest reports indicates FC Porto who sold top striker Jackson Martinez to Athletico Madrid are eyeing him as a replacement for the departed forward.
Russia side Locomotive Moscow are however hopeful of landing the striker as well as they are in a strong financial position to agree a deal with his Qatari owners Al-Arabi who are already resigned to losing the 23 year old despite signing him just last summer.
Nikolay Maunov president of the Russian side is willing to sanction a deal for Ezekiel as early as this week leaving Anderlecht and Standard Liege with little or no chance of signing the Nigerian.
However Standard Liege are hopeful of a swap deal between them and Qatari side Al-Arabi as the Middle East team want their forward Paul Jose M'poku as well.
