English Premiership Champions Chelsea yesterday arrived Canada for a pre season tour with four Nigerians in their team but there was no spot for Super Eagles first choice defender Kenneth Omeruo.
Omeruo who has been on loan since joining Chelsea four seasons ago was not considered good enough by manager Jose Mourinho ahead of the defence of their premiership title defence but Victor Moses who spent the last two season on loan and Obi Mikel whose future is also in doubt made the trip.
Youngsters of Nigeria descendants Ola Aina and Dominic Solanke were also included in the Blues team that will travel to New Jersey to face the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, July 22 at their 25,000-seater home stadium before a clash against PSG in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, July 25.
Mourinho's side will then head to Washington D.C. to take on Champions League winners Barcelona on Tuesday, July 28.
