Moses Simon have personally spoken to members of Gent technical crew to make a bid for Saviour Godwin.
Simon who was reportedly shunned by Nigeria Under-20 team team coaches at the World Youth Championship in favour of Godwin told Mowizsoccer he has spoken with some people to help push a transfer as he believes Godwin will be a positive addition to the team.
"I have personally put in a word for him to be signed as i believe he will be a good addition to the squad, not mincing words he is about the best dribbler have seen off late" He told Mowizsoccer.
"I have no bad blood towards him as i knew why i didn't play at the Under-20 world cup and he truly made use of my absence to make an impact,am happy for him and will be elated if he joins Gent".
Despite Simon's wishes it is reported that fellow Belgium teams Standard Liege and Serbia side Partizan Belgrade are in the running for the 20 years old with Samsunspor of Turkey reportedly the front runners for his signature.
