MOSES SIMON: WHY I WAS BENCHED AT WYC

Speaking to the press in Belgium where he is presently back in training with Gent ahead of their Champions league commitments,Moses who had barely rested since the end of last season in response to questions as to why he was not used by Nigeria the just concluded Under-20 World cup revealed he was injured.

"I had an ankle injury and was later sick i truly wanted to play and help my country but at the same time i didn't want to risk my career, hence the coaches decided to rest me but unfortunately we didn't progress before i recovered' He said.
