SIASIA CALLS UP BIRMINGHAM CITY PROSPECT

Birmingham City 19 year old forward Viv Solomon Otabor has being handed a call up by coach of the Nigeria Under-23 team Samson Siasia.

Otabor will have trial with the team ahead of their 2016 Olympics qualifiers against Congo for a spot in the Africa olympics qualifiers championship.

Solomon-Otabor is yet to make a first team appearance for Blues but did make progress in Richard Beale’s Under 21 set-up last season.

Talented winger Solomon-Otabor joined Blues from the Crystal Palace academy in 2012 and he is expected to join the main team in pre season this summer with the hope of impressing manager Garry Rowet.

Born in London to Nigerian parents he extended his deal with Birmingham City by a further year but despite not making his debut yet for the team he has spent time on loan at on loan at Skrill North side Oxford City, where gained valuable first team experience.
