Head coach of the Nigeria Under-20 team Manu Garba says his team 4-0 victory over North Korea was possible as his players played to his instructions after the half time break.
Nigeria and Korea DPR went into the break tied at 0-0 but the Flying Eagles scored four times in the second half courtesy of a brace from Saviour Godwin and two other goals from Isaac Success and Kingsley Sokari and the coach reckons the first half stalemate was because his players ignored his instructions.
"We had a plan for what we wanted to do (in the first half) but they weren't doing the right thing. We talked to the team and in the second half they got the job done" He told Fifa.com
He praised his opponents for their improved display from their first game where they got throunced 5-1 by Hungary but also reserved some praises for his wards for winning with style.
"Korea DPR have a good side, and they played much better than they did against the Hungarians, but they are lacking when it comes to finishing. It's not all about winning, but it's about entertaining the crowd, and that's something that our side did.
