STANDARD LIEGE CHANCES OF SIGNING EZEKIEL REDUCES

A breakdown in relationship between Mogi Bayat commissioned by Anderlecht to help broker the transfer of Imoh Ezekiel from Al-Arabi have lead to a collapse in his proposed move to Anderlecht.

Bayat was mandated by Anderlecht to help mediate in the transfer of the 22 year old Nigerian who spent last season on loan at Standard Liege from Al-Arabi of Qatar but the Arabians are furious reports about their interest in Standard Liege forward Paul Jose'Mpoku broke to the media.

Al-Arabi feels Bayat was responsible for the leak that has jeopardised their chances of signing Mpoku hence they have ended all relationship with him.

That means Anderlecht who were hoping Bayat will help them land Ezekiel on a cheap might not be able to sign him as their current financial situations does not permits them to make expensive purchase.

It is reported teams in Italy and Germany are set to take advantage of the situation but Standard Liege are still hopeful of securing him on loan for another season.
