Belgum top division team KV Oostende and Sint Truiden are presently locked in battle for the services of Karabukspor striker Joseph Akpalla who wants out of the relegated team.
Akpalla scored four times for Karabukspor from 25 games he played last season but failed to help them stay in the top division and he is angling towards a return to Belgium where he made a name playing for Club Brugge.
KV Oostende were reportedly close to agreeing a deal for the 28 year old but Sint Truiden have also join the scramble for the forward.
The Nigeiran have being unfortunate with injuries the last five seasons limiting his games and goals tally in Belgium and Turkey.
He spent three seasons at Werder Bremen getting to play just 25 times and scoring just once before moving to Turkey where injuries also contributed to his unhappy time there.
